CPD - a great event at a great location CPD DÜSSELDORF, held from 24 to 26 July 2005, closed after a successful weekend for the fashion professionals who had travelled to Düsseldorf from all corners of the world. About 44,000 specialised fashion retailers, a third of whom came from abroad, emphasised through their attendance the importance of CPD as international order and information platform. All in all, the trade fair attracted 58,500 international trade visitors, who did their purchasing in the exhibition buildings and the showrooms. Following the cancellation of three fashion trade fairs in Berlin and the womenswear segment at B-IN-BERLIN, the successful installation of Bread & butter Barcelona and the subsequent decrease in visitor numbers at Bread & butter Berlin, requests for a large and forceful event in Düsseldorf had been heard clearly even before CPD. After in-depth discussions with industry representatives during Early Strick at the Düsseldorf Fashion House and the recently closed CPD confirmed this position, IGEDO Company decided to cancel the planned, additional early date and to offer the industry only one date per season in 2006. Thus, the next CPD DÜSSELDORF will be held from 05 to 07 February 2006. As of July 2006, the date will be optimised further depending on the market development.
