Review – Textile Trends 2006

This years “TextileTrends“ was focusing on an integrated approach to new product design, development and marketing of textile products. It included innovation strategies and identified opportunities for desig-ning textile products, launching them in the market, and managing innovations. The conference covered diverse end uses for textiles, including apparel, home textiles and transportation textiles, and looks at trends in textile product development. Attention was also paid to business analyses and strategies, prototype designs, product analyses and recommendations. In addition, 3D systems for textile applications such as nonwovens, knitted and woven products have been dis-cussed at a runup workshop. Next years “TextileTrends“ will take place February 13 to 15, 2007 in Berlin. With 150 delegates from all over the world who discussed current developments and innovations, the congress was a full success.
