Shoes & Leather Tech Fair 2003 the Third will take place in Aleppo city on Souq al Intaj, international fair ground from 9 to 12 of Sep 2003. The most consistent event joining leathers and shoes buyers and sellers in the Middle East. Still the world''s best high performance marketing too for shoes leather, machines and suppliers in the Middle East.

The four days event organized by world Center for Fairs & Services. Covers 4000 square meters.

Since the first established in the city of Damascus at Damascus International Fair Ground, the fair has been a celebrity for many businessmen and sponsored by various companies most of which deal with shoe manufacturing and leather industry.

Over 1500 high quality buyer visited the fair held in Damascus city and purchase products from all sectors of leather industry from raw materials, equipment, and companies to manufacturing and finished goods, and many more buyers are expected to visit the fair in Aleppo city.

Thousands of new improved products were on display from the 150 exhibiting companies. These exhibitors flocked to Damascus City showcase their nation''s best products especially from Turkey and Italy.

Upon consisting demand of exhibitors at the previous fair held in Damascus City. Aleppo is chosen to be the fair ground since it is the home of 50% of Syria''s total industry.

In September 2003, the Shoe & Leather Tech fair will welcome 200 exhibitors and 30.000 visitors from 15 countries.

Since the last fair held in Damascus factories have less stock in hand, which is a sure sign of better business. In tough times they hold stock to stabilize the market and drive prices up. Demand for machinery has increased, indicating a willingness to invest and achieve higher quality.

Signs of improvement are everywhere: more technicians and specialized workers are visiting the exhibitions. For instance we are seeing new faces in the Shoe & Leather industry too, a business starts up.
