Canada : Le Chateau’s second-quarter sales up 5%

 Canadian clothing retailer Le Chateau said that sales in the second quarter ended 26 July 2003 were up 5 per cent to CAD 54.2m (€ 35.2m), while net profit improved by 4.9 per cent to CAD 2.5m.

Half-year profit rose 5.8 per cent on sales of CAD 99.4m, up 5.2 per cent.
