Germany : Less insolvencies of German textile companies in first half

The German statistical office, the Statistische Bundesamt, revealed, that the number of insolvencies of German companies in the textile, apparel and leather goods sectors dropped by 20.3 per cent to 102 in the first half of 2003, while the total number of insolvencies in Germany grew by 24.8 per cent to 49,515.
