Innovations, technology and know-how: ways to the highest standard of cleaning. The focus of the 11th Texcare International in Frankfurt from 6 to 10 June 2004 will be on information about the latest developments in the industrial textile cleaning and laundry sector. In addition to professional machinery for laundry, dry cleaning and finishing companies, this highly specialised branch of industry has been presenting system and programme innovations, detergents, logistic equipment and solutions for laundry leasing on the approx. 30,000 square metres of exhibition space at the leading trade fair in Frankfurt am Main since 1956.
Almost 250 exhibitors – all leading national and international (60 percent) laundry and textile-cleaning machinery manufacturers – are expected to take part in the trade fair, which is held alternately in Frankfurt and Asia every two years. Texcare International is the ideal information forum for decision makers and proprietors of laundries, textile and carpet cleaners, laundry managers, hoteliers, proprietors of laundry and protective-clothing hire companies and buyers from the laundry-requisites trade. More than 40 percent of the approx. 20,000 trade visitors to Texcare Frankfurt 2000 came from outside Germany.
To be seen at Texcare International is the entire product range from machinery, plant and equipment for laundries, pressing rooms, textile cleaning and dyeing, as well as the broad spectrum of washing, pressing, cleaning, disinfectant and dyeing agents. Additionally, the fair presents machinery, equipment and aids for cleaning carpets, upholstery and buildings. Also represented is the product segment of finishing, textiles and accessories for hire services, as well as plant, measuring equipment and aids for environmental protection and recycling.
By and large, the laundry sector is successfully resisting economic developments. Hence, both machinery manufacturers and textile cleaning companies are taking a mildly optimistic view of the future. In the laundry sector, the export of high-tech machines and complete systems appears to have an interesting potential whereby the emphasis is not on major innovations but on the numerous technical improvements and adaptations catering for increased expectations. In the field of dry-cleaning machinery, future-oriented perspectives are to be seen in CO2 cleaning without water and chemicals, which is especially kind to fabric surfaces. Manufacturers are working all out to make this visionary idea ready for the market in Germany.
During Texcare International, technologies and trends in the laundry and textile cleaning sector will be presented in a special forum where, in cooperation with expert partners, Messe Frankfurt will offer a wide range of compact lectures and seminars on the results of current scientific research, on environmental-protection regulations and logistics solutions.
