Green''s Magic Sees Arcadia Almost Double FY Profit

Fashion group Arcadia on Thursday revealed it almost doubled its full year operating profit as retail billionaire Philip Green lived up to his reputation as the man with the Midas touch.

The operator of apparel chains like Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Evans and Top Shop, posted a 96 per cent leap in operating profit to £227.9 million from £108.5m in the year-ago period.
