Fashion Group JC Posts Wider Nine Month Loss

Casual apparel group Jeans & Clothes (JC) AB on Thursday revealed a far wider nine month loss as it was hurt by weak sales, negative currency effects and goodwill and stock write-downs.

The operator of around 260 stores in Scandinavia and Germany posted a net loss for the January to September period of 62.8 million Swedish crowns ($8.2m) versus a net loss of 6.2 million crowns ($812,000) last year.
