Record Cotton Crop Likely In NE Louisiana

According to a stsate agricultural specialists cotton crop in
northeastern Louisiana is expected to set a record in 2003.
Currently, the projection is 877 pounds per acre, which would break the current record of 828 pounds per acre set in 1971, said Joel Faircloth, a state cotton specialist.
