Wal-Mart''s October sales up 11.8%

Wal-Mart Stores, October sales increased 11.8% to $19.07 billion, while same-store increased 4.5%, the retailer stated on last week.

Sales at the Wal-Mart division were $12.72 billion, up 10.7% compared with last year''s $11.49 billion. Same-store sales increased 4%.
