The Textile Institute''s International Textile Design Forum has been moved from its two-day slot at the end of next week to a new date in April 2004.
The event, which had attracted speakers including designers Wayne Hemingway, Mark Eley, and Scott Henshall, along with representatives from Max Mara, Marks & Spencer and Liberty will now take place on 1-2 April according to the organisers.
Keynote presentations will cover innovation, entrepreneurship, functionality, and education and training in textiles and fashion.
There will also be an opportunity to focus on product end-use, with workshops on fashion textiles, interior textiles and performance textiles (sportswear, clothing and workwear).
The event aimed at everyone involved in the textile and fashion industries internationally, including those concerned with buying, retailing, management, manufacture and education, from fashion and textiles, high performance products including sportswear.
