Every textile factory to have ERP link-up |

The Government announced a plan to link up the entire domestic textile industry via an online enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
A team of IT experts are currently working on designing a system to link every factory in the country.
“This solution will contribute significantly to the connection of the supply chain management system, ranging from production planning, production control, selling and marketing, inventory, and product purchase order and delivery,” Chutaporn Lampasar, Industrial Economics Office (IEO) director-general, said.
She also said that the IEO had teamed up with the Textile Industry Development Institute to assist in developing the ERP solution. (Thailand) |
