VITAS to conduct four trade promotion programmes |

The Viet Nam Garment and Textiles Association (VITAS) will conduct four major trade promotion programmes in the second half of this year, said VITAS General Secretary Le Van Dao.Under the programmes, VITAS will help enterprises to participate in the Matex Fair in Malaysia from Aug. 5-8. They will also coordinate with the Viet Nam Garment and Textiles Corporation (VINATEX) to take part in the MAGIC Fair in Las Vegas and make a fact finding tour of the US market from Aug. 27-Sept. 2. In September, VITAS will send a delegation to Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary to research these markets. They will also encourage businesses to take part in a fair in Taiwan from Sept. 19-25 and hold a seminar to call on Vietnamese enterprises to invest in this market.VITAS is prepared to set up two markets for the trading of leather, garment and textile materials in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City with priorities given to open economic zones. Additionally, construction of a human resources training centre for the sector is expected to begin early next year.
