United Kingdom: Rooney signs pact to lauch clothing range |

UK soccer sensation Wayne Rooney is planning to launch a clothing range, according to the sources. The Everton star has already registered an eponymous brand and signed a contract with a major retailer to sell Wayne Rooney apparel and underwear.
The teenage star who was recently voted the nation''s favorite Scouser and has a pub named after him in Liverpool called Rooney''s Bar, is now advertising Coke and Pringles because he''s a good way of reaching young people.
“I love the brand idea,” says Rooney. “We live in a society embracing achievement and style. I believe I’m the living proof to the fact that everything is possible.”
Rooney already holds the record for being the youngest Englishman ever to win a full cap for his country, in a game against Australia early in 2003.
