India: Modern Mills goes to HK

Modern Mills, reputed to be one of the oldest textile mills in India, has announced establishment of a wholly owned subsidiary unit in Hong Kong.

Named Modern International Asia Ltd, the new unit will carry out the trading, import and export activities in textiles and other commodities.

Recently, the company had embarked on a major diversification spree when it launched the Indian Institute of Jewellery in Mumbai.
