USA:VF appoints new CEO for Nautica |

US clothing group VF Corporation has named Denise V. Seegal as Chief Executive Officer and President of its Nautica division.
The Greensboro-based company informed that she will assume the position held since August 2003 by Nautica founder David Chu, who is leaving to pursue other interests.
VF completed its purchase of Nautica Enterprises Inc. a year ago, and revealed the Nautica brands would fall under a new division called the sportswear coalition. VF''s other brands include Lee, Wrangler, and Lily of France.
Ms Seegal recently was Chief Executive Officer and President of Sweetface Fashion Co, which makes the JLO by Jennifer Lopez clothing line. She also served in a variety of executive positions at Liz Claiborne Inc, Calvin Klein Inc, Donna Karan International and Polo Ralph Lauren Corp''s womenswear unit.
She will report to Eric Wiseman, Vice President and Chairman of VF''s Outdoor and Sportswear Coalitions.
