Pakistan: Pakistan’s industrial growth rate doubles compared to 2002-2003

In a meeting held at Islamabad, by the Federal Finance Minister and Prime Minister designate Shaukat Aziz, various government ministries informed the Economic Coordination Committee about the growth rate The meeting was informed that compared to 7.2% growth in the year 2002-03, Pakistan achieved an industrial growth rate of 18.1%. The growth rate of Textile and apparel industry was reported to be 5.7%.
