Uzbekistan:Uzbek-Turkish textile venture to set up Sharq Modeli

Sharq Modeli (East Model), an Uzbek-Turkish join venture, was commissioned in Shayhantahur district of Tashkent city on 25 August 2004. The venture, created on the basis of Sharq Guli (East Flower) LLC, was founded in cooperation with Turkish Kideks. Its capacity is 60,000 units of knitted products per month or 7.2 million annually. US$2.8 million were invested into construction of the venture. The company is equipped with equipment of Japan, USA and Turkey.
