PJL Clothing (India) has revealed it plans to enter the lucrative childrenswear market and increase the number of its multi-brand outlets by 25 per cent to 500 stores.
The managing director of the Pepe Jeans subsidiary, Chetan Shah, told The Financial Express it also plans to boost the number of exclusive franchisee- operated flagship stores by a further dozen in the next fiscal year.
"The objective behind the move (expansion drive) is to reach out to a wider target audience," he said.
"With the move, we hope our overall sales turnover to grow by an additional 30 per cent within a year. Currently, we are growing at a rate of 40 per cent per annum."
