The Singapore Fashion Festival is racing up the right track by securing a major sponsorship from Mercedes-Benz

Singapore style has moved up a higher gear.

The annual Singapore Fashion Festival, now in its third year, has managed to flag down Mercedes-Benz as a principal sponsor.

Believed to be just over $500,000 in funding, this foray into fashion is the German carmaker's third, after the Mercedes Australian and New York Fashion Weeks since 1996 and 2001, respectively.
