The season’s dawning with festivities, colour and soothing winters and Pepe Jeans London like always has again become the first one to launch its Autumn Winter 04 (AW04) collection complimenting the seasons mood, as per the official release.
The AW04 collection conjures an exquisite blend of colour, fabric and style. Pepe has fashioned Red and hot Pink for the season for the ladies and double layered jersey for the men giving a macho effect with total comfort.
Announcing the launch of Autumn Winter 04 collection Chetan Shah, Country Head, Pepe Jeans India said, “It has been our endeavour to provide an entire wardrobe in casual wear comprising of Denims and beyond to customers. We have ensured that though our collection is in tandem with the international collection, it also caters to Indian style sensibilities and preferences.”
Pepe’s Autumn Winter 04 collection sees heavy influences from Portobello (origin of Pepe) reflecting trends of Art, Rock and Sports. Mens Topwear features Shirts in stripes and checks (749 – 999) in some unique colours like Chillies, Sea Greens, Cookies etc.
Silky and colored denim shirts with a rich array of colours like deep reds, washed indigos, T-shirts with graphics and sweatshirts with images overlapped (379 -899).
Pepe has adopted a different appliqué technique and fusion of fabrics giving a truly one off look that has become the signature of the PJL’s collection. It brings in the season of 100% cotton jersey & double-layered lightweight to heavyweight knits, long sleeve Tees & sweat shirts and jackets used in conjunction with heavy 4 by 2 ribs for cuffs and necks. Combination of washed denim & flat-knits is tongue in cheek.
Italian washed denims play an important role to fulfil the demand for lighter, softer handfeel denims. The colours are rich, deep reds & washed indigos. The non-denims are influenced by outdoor survival. The utility pants with large multi-pockets, buckles are true to work wear roots. The colours in charcoal, woody brown, khaki add to the adventure. For the ladies, its hot pinks and deep reds which are the dominant colours for the season. The ladies tops are a collection of stylish prints (349 – 1199). The graphics concentrate on the London Heritage & girl next-door sweetness. Club themed and number story T-shirts & polo’s, chunky jacquard, striped or cable knit sweaters are just the tip of the iceberg.
Pepe Jeans is the first and only one in the segment to launch a range of moody casual wear and denims under the Pepe Jeans “1016 Teens collection” targeted at Ten year olds to young teenagers.
