Cotton Prices May Cross Rs 2,700 Level On High Demand

High demand of cotton, due to the textile sector’s expansion and low cotton supplies because of infestation and bad water conditions this season, is likely to push cotton prices above Rs 2,700 per bale by the end of the coming week with the possibility that textile mills might shift to imports, various cotton brokers and traders told Daily Times.
