Pakistan:Cotton factories pick 8,151,000 cotton bales |

The latest information from the cotton ginners association indicates that by 15th November 8,151,000 bales reached factories.
Against this, last year only 5,769,000 cotton bales had reached cotton factories showing a 44 percent increase in the arrival of cotton bales this year compared to last year.
Region wise spread shows 6,363,000 cotton bales coming from Punjab and 17,037,000 bales from Sindh. There were 14,000 bales reaching cotton factories from Balochistan.
Textile mills have so far purchased 5,651,000 cotton bales from the bales that have arrived in factories on 15th November and the rest about 2,000,000 bales, are lying in the ginning factories currently. |
