Belgium: SMEs in focus – Italian-Tunisian partnership meet |

SME (Small & Medium Enterprises) are playing an important role, the world over. This has found support in the business partnership being established between Italy and Tunisia.
A meet to set up technical centres supporting small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) will take place in Tunis, Tunisia, on 13 December.
Textiles, clothing, leather and shoes, packaging, mechanics and electrical sectors will be in focus at the meet.
The initial results of the RésIT project, funded under the innovation section of the Fifth Framework Programme (FP5) will be presented then. They illustrate how it is possible to offer the services of Italian and Tunisian organisations to neighbouring countries. The meet will attract representatives from the European Commission and the African Development Bank, who will offer information on the most relevant financial tools for such activities. |
