The honeymoon between the famed Karl Lagerfeld and clothing retailer H&M has as good as ended in mutual discontent and disappointment.
All it took was the designer''s plant that his collection for the chain being produced in larger sizes was meant for slim and slender people, send the clothing chain in a tizzy for an apology from Largerfeld.
"I can see why the women of Britain feel upset and I think he should say sorry to them,” Jorgen Anderson, Marketing Director who received complains from customers who read Lagerfelds comments in press informed.
"Fashion should be fun for everyone, so I can understand why people got insulted. We’ve been very clear from the beginning that it was to be a full size range."
Ann Widdecombe, who called Lagerfelds comments “barmy,” says, "The fact is, most women are a size 14 or over, so why should they be denied the joy of his fashion?" |
