Italians Attend Garment Show

Italy brought 44 exhibitors to CHIC 2003, a leading annual international garment show held from March 28 to 30 in Beijing. The country has a total exhibition area of 720 square metres and is the largest foreign national pavilion at the fair. China imported US$41 million of garments from Italy last year, which represented a 52 per cent year-on-year increase and 3 per cent of China's total garment imports. China is also a leading supplier to the Italian garment industry. (China Daily)
