Shri Renuga textiles has build up a new evaporating technology for effective treatment of textile effluents.
The Tamil Nadu''s Theni-based company Director, N R Manivannan said that the fully automatic system, “Flash Tech Evaporator” would be more efficient than the conventional evaporator, since it consumes less power and steam to evaporate more effluent.
According to him, there would be no salt depositation and scaling in the entire system, huge volume of sludge generated in the conventional bioprocess would also be totally eliminated in this “flash tech environ system”.
Asked about the economics if installed, he said 90 percent of the water can be recovered and 99 percent salt can be recovered by using this system and there would also be no discharge of treated water.
With about Rs 35 lakh to Rs 60 lakh investment in three types of huge, medium and lower-end textile units, the investor can take back his investment within one year, as there would no need to purchase water and salt, Manivannan said.
The inhouse engineers have developed the concept, which is successfully being implemented in his unit after testing all other available systems.
Manivannan added the company wanted to sell this environment-friendly, cost effective concept to the major textile cluster of Tirupur, Erode and Karur in Tamil Nadu, which together have an export volume of more than Rs 6000 crore.
