Pakistan:Liquidation of TCP cotton stock to be decided tomorrow |

A high level inter-ministerial meeting tomorrow will decide in Islamabad for formulating recommendations relating to sale of cotton lying with the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP).
Currently, according to Chairman TCP, Masood Alam Rizvi the Corporation holds a stock of 1.6 million bales of cotton, which were purchased at Rs.2159 per bale from ginners.
Held under the aegis of the ministry of commerce the reccomendations once finalised, would be sent to Economic Co-ordination Committee of the federal cabinet for a final decision on the sale of this cotton, he informed. |
