Uganda:Bo Weevil output forecast at 6,000 cotton lint bales |

Dutch firm Bo Weevil has forecast 6000 cotton lint output this year, according to Marck Van Esch, managing director who addressed a press conference in Kampala recently.
The cotton lint worth sh1.35b will be produced this year by Bo Weevil, has said.
Van Esch said this during a press conference in Kampala recently.
He also urged the farmers to grow more cotton to reap big from the firm’s readily-available market.
Van Esch informed that their company sells some of their organic cotton to Phenix Logistics, while the rest is exported to Kenya, Tanzania, Japan, Thailand and Europe. He indicated that the company will buy the cotton at sh675 above the sh600 for conventional cotton. |
