In terms of raw material, China’s textile and garment export in Jan.-Feb. 2003 was as follows. The export of cotton textiles and garments was US$3.578 billion, increasing by 29.53 percent compared with a year ago. The export of wool ones was US$375 million, increasing by 13.24 percent. The export of bast-leaf fiber ones was US$95 million, increasing by 8.94 percent. The export of silk ones was US$337 million, decreasing by 3.04 percent. And the export of chemical fiber ones totaled to US$3.117 billion, increasing by 20.11 percent.
