Fengzhu Textile Science & Technology Shareholding Co., Ltd. will get the Intertek Eco-Certification for their cotton dyed fabric very soon. As the biggest knitting manufacturer and dyeing house in Fujian province, Fengzhu has built business relationship with many local and abroad partners. Most of their products are sold to abroad directly and indirectly through these partners. Therefore, the ecological requirements of International market have been their concerns for a long time. They had improved their product eco quality by replacing the domestic dyestuff by imported dyestuffs. However, with the industrial norms and consumer laws in many countries are stricter and stricter, a lot of buyers put forward more and more ecological requirements from the demanding to product ecology to the production control . The top Managers of Fengzhu feel that they should do more in cope with the new market demanding. Intertek Eco-Certification is their choice. The Intertek Eco-Certification focuses on upgrading the ability of certificate holders to cope with the new ecological demands of market by improving their technical know-how and quality systems. Through the strong efforts, Fengzhu has successfully past the factory evaluation according to the requirements of Intertek Eco-Certification and will get the certificate after product random testing.
Promotional Activities:
- During 2 August-4 August, Prof. James Wang of Intertek Group was invited to deliver a speech on the latest development of Green Barriers in the EU market in the seminar "New type PET Fiber” held by National Synthetic Fiber Information Center. As the upper industry of textile chain, the Chinese fiber producers have little concerns on the ecological requirements in the international textile market. However, with more and more demands come from the fiber users, the industry feels the necessary to do something to facilitate the downstream dyeing house and garments producers to cope with the ecological challenges. The invitation to Intertek was put forward based on this strong demand. Prof. Wang’s presentation won many positive feedbacks from audience and some of the fiber producers showed strong interest in Intertek Eco-Certification.
- During 19 August-20 August Senior Representatives of Intertek will present 2005 National Chemical Testing Tech Info Exchange seminar and share the experiences and know-how in textile chemical and ecological testing of Intertek with the local fellow labs.
- On 22 August, Intertek will hold a seminar on China GB 18401-The Basic Safety Requirements of textile Products for companies which are selling textiles to China in Hong Kong. Two of the standard drafters , Mr. Wang Bao-jun of China Textile Standard Research Institute and Prof. James Wang of Intertek will make presentations to the audience.
