USA:Jones Apparel appoints Clare Cuthbert

New York based leading branded apparel, footwear and accessories designer and marketer Jones Apparel Group Inc announced. Clare Cuthbert has been appointed President of the Company''s Accessories Division. In this position, Cuthbert will be responsible for developing the strategy and overseeing the management of the accessories business. Her appointment is effective August 26, 2005 and she will report directly to Rhonda Brown, President and Chief Executive Officer, Footwear, Accessories and Retail Group.

Brown commented, "Clare joins us having had extensive fashion accessory experience in both the retail and wholesale areas. She has held senior merchandising positions at Bloomingdale''s, Bergdorf Goodman and Bendels, and senior wholesale management positions at Donna Karan and Esprit.
