USA: Adidas Signs Sports Uniform Alliance With Betlin |

Leading sportswear and athletic shoe firm adidas on Friday announced it has teamed up with Betlin Inc as the official licensee responsible for the exclusive manufacturing and selling of custom and stock uniforms.
The Oregon-based company said in a statement Betlin will produce custom and stock uniforms for the basketball, football, baseball & softball, lacrosse, and ice hockey categories. Financial details were not disclosed.
Adidas said the alliance provides it with "a domestic uniform manufacture that can meet the growing demand for adidas branded uniforms" and allows it to "strengthen licensed property partnerships and drive team uniform business at the college and high school levels".
"Betlin has a proven track record and we are confident that this partnership will allow us to drive sales of brand driven - uniquely designed custom and stock uniforms," said David Howitt, director of licensing and business development, adidas America.
Betlin president John Archer added: "Adidas is a proven leader in providing the best products to athletes at every level. Betlin's history as a quality uniform manufacturer, coupled with adidas' commitment to provide the best products makes for a perfect fit."
