Textile Companies to Accelerate Tech Innovation

It is reported that innovative fabrics and technology were spotlighted and welcome among visitors both from home and abroad at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics which concluded several days ago. It mirrors that China's textile companies has realized the key to a company's survival and evolution is to enhance added value in the products and to be more competitive using technology and fashion trend.

Sponsored by China National Textile and Apparel Council, jointly organized by the Sub-Council of Textile Industry of CCPIT, Messe Frankfurt Hong Kong and China Textile Information Center, Intertextile is so far the largest exhibition for fabric and accessories in Asia, with 1530 exhibitors from 25 countries or regions this year. Exhibitors commonly found that the functional fabrics for garment, like anti-bacterial and acarus resistance, heat absorbing and warm keeping, light cool and sweat absorbing, would become hot cakes in the market soon. New technology and new process are sure to be extensively applied on garment making.

It is seen at the Shanghai event that different users and producers have different requirements on the functional fabric in the aspects of developing concept, production technology and the finished goods.

As a major producer and processor in the global textile industry, China has less possibility to win the future competition with existing resources but more opportunity to be strong with technology innovation.
