China Fashion Week Will Kick Off in Beijing on Nov.16

2006 spring/summer collection of China Fashion Week (CFW) will kick off in Beijing on Nov. 16. The fashion week will last 7 days, which will have a red-carpet Award Ceremony at Beijing Hotel on Nov. 22. The hosts have established 3 release sites, including Beijing Hotel, China World Hotel and Beijing Kerry Center where will hold more than 50 catalogs of activities, such as special release meetings, professional contests, fashion forums, special lectures, press party, media meetings, recommending meetings and so on.

CFW is an international activity aimed to exhibition for international fashion innovation and release of fashion trend, which holds autumn/winter collection and spring/summer collection in every March and November. Since it kicked off in 1997, CFW has attracted famous brand from China mainland, Hongkong, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, France, Italy, US to hold more than 270 fashion release meetings; 520 domestic and overseas new designers has taken part in 21 professional contests; thousands of domestic and overseas models and correspondents has participated in releasing and reporting for CFW respectively. Now, CFW has possessed 200 enrolled famous enterprise, 500 designers, 500 editors and correspondents and 50 model agencies.

With 3 spectrums and 2 competitions, namely "Product Release, Professional Contests, Fashion Forums" and "Professional Select, Fashion Award", CFW has established a platform of communication and cooperation between celebrities & freshmen, and professional & society.
