Japan : Spun yarn indices up in Oct

Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan released the Indices of Industrial Production, Shipment and Producer's Inventory for October 2005.

It reports about textile, furniture, stationery and toys.

The textile fields include man-made fibers, spun yarn, woven fabrics, dyeing & finishing processes, clothes, other textile products. The leather products are also included in the report.

The spun yarn delivery shows increase level in October.

The history of METI reflects the history of Japan itself. MITI was reorganized to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
