China : China's wool product exports rise

The value of China's major wool apparel and textile exports saw a year-on-year increase for the first eight months of the year except for woollen yarn, The Woolmark Company reports based on the China Customs data.

During the review period, men's and women's apparel were the top export categories, and worsted yarn, worsted fabric and woollen fabric registered fairly strong growth.

In volume terms, the top three destinations for wool apparel and textile exports were Hong Kong, Japan and the US.

Japan topped the chart in value terms.
