Japan : Toray focuses on Chinese markets

According to sources, Toray Industries Inc. focuses on a six-fold expansion of its annual sales in China by 2010. Toray, Japan's biggest maker of synthetic fibres, has invested around $500 million in China since 1994, operating 17 companies including textile and plastics factories and hiring about 2,700 workers.
