China's textile machinery industry grew 12.28% in first three quarters

China's textile machinery industry registered an industrial output of RMB32.272 billion and a sales value of RMB29.953 billion between January and September this year, up 12.48% and 10.44% year-on-year respectively, according to China Textile Machinery Association.

During the review period, the export value of textile machines accumulated to US$643 million, up 38.61% year-on-year.

However, due to the rise in energy costs and raw material costs, the profit for the first three quarters saw a slight drop of 0.37% to RMB1.505 billion.

It is expected that by the end of the year, the industrial output of the industry will be RMB 40 billion and the export value RMB 800 million.
