China’s textile and garment import in Jan.-Feb. 2003 was as follows.
The import of cotton textiles and garments was US$639 million, up by 15.80 percent compared with a year ago.
The import of wool ones was US$78 million, down by 5.11 percent.
The import of bast-leaf fiber ones was US$47 million, up by 45.08 percent.
The import of silk ones, valued at US$19 million, increased by 26.41 percent.
And the import of chemical fiber ones totaled to US$1.005 billion, up by 26.30 percent.
