Two Lakme Fashion Weeks, one in Delhi and one in Mumbai, will be organized in 2006.

Most of the fashion icons are vouching for a more subtle and simple look the year ahead.
According to fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, mix and match has been everywhere for some time now, will fade away.
Sabyasachi begins the year 2006 with a bang by launching his label at Selfridges in London in February.
He will also design for Rani Mukherjee's Babul, his second Bollywood film after Black.
Simplistic, uncomplicated designs in pastels and neutrals like beige and browns will be big.
Needless to say, white will dominate, especially during spring.
Bright and vibrant colours will become rare.
Anamika Khanna says the mood will be that of matured romance than than that of teenage romance.
Old classic designs will be on a "come-back trail" and get appreciated once again.
Anamika will be seen at both the autumn-winter and spring-summer editions of London Fashion Week.
The designer will also showcase her Autumn-Winter 2006-07 collection in Paris and the US, and launch her collection at stores, the world over.
Designer Kiran Uttam Ghosh has also got a big year ahead with her international prêt label being launched first in Switzerland, and then in other European countries.
Apart from the nine existing countries, this label is set to open in five more countries.
