The Indian Synthetic and Rayon Textile Export Promotion Council is due to stage the 4th Indian Textile Show in Colombo on Jan. 11-12, Daily News reported Saturday.
The exposition will showcase India's capabilities and products in the fields of synthetic textiles, fiber, yarn and made-ups, the paper said.
It will also bring together Indian enterprises producing man- made fibers and will further strengthen the flourishing business relationships between the two countries.
The Indian government has offered special concessions to Sri Lanka for export of 6 million pieces at zero duty under the India- Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement provided the fabric used is sourced from India.
The Indian organization has already staged three successful trade shows of this kind in Sri Lanka.
