China : EPZ facilities investment friendly

A Chinese business delegation on visit to Bangladesh were impressed by the encouraging investment climate of the export processing zones (EPZs), said a press release.

Deputy Director of Wuxi City Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and leader of the delegation Xu Hui Juan expressed her satisfaction on the work that was going on in EPZ.

Md Zakir Hossain, Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) explained the incentives being offered by BEPZA to increase export and investments in EPZs.

Juan praised the work being done by BEPZA and the peaceful production oriented atmosphere prevailing at the EPZ when they visited two Chinese textile units in Dhaka EPZ.

Interest in textile investment, garments accessories, leather and leather products, toys and light engineering sectors in the EPZs was shown by the visiting delegation members.
