China : Traditional silk line faces tough times in world market
Traditional silk clothing, loved by many buyers, has been witnessing tough times in international market as manufacturers have obsolete machinery and thereby produce low or middle grade silk line.
Chairman of Sino-American Communication Commission, Wutebar said though Chinese silk quality and quantity are better than international average, the quality and price are below the average
The industry has to cope with this situation immediately; otherwise Chinese cheap silk production will be replaced by other countries produce.
