China : Jiansu textile enterprises set up production bases on foreign land
In order to demolish textile trade wall, more and more Jiansu textile enterprises plan to set up factories in other countries.
So far, eight textile enterprises have set up their factories in foreign land as a result, textile export values have grown to US$1 million.
These enterprises forward the reason of cheaper raw material and lower salary, however, the major reason is to avoid textile trade wall.
Jiansu Heifeng is one such company exporting woolen products. The company has set up a factory in United Arab Emirates with total investment of about US $10 million. Export value of company has reached $40 million so far.
Enterprises are establishing overseas factories to raise export value with a view to improving quality of its products and manufacturing technology.
