China : Time ripe to produce hi-tech textile machinery spares

Textile manufacturers have emerged as leading exporters of machinery spares to 80 destinations like America, Japan, Germany, Canada and other countries.

Cheap labour and raw materials have spurred the industry's progress.

However, most of textile machinery spares are of low quality as manufacturers have not adopted modern technology.

This leads to lower earnings even though the export volume is large. As a result, high-tech textile machinery spares have to be imported from abroad.
