China : Crosrol Machinery 'zeros' on Indian textile market
Considering the textile boom in India, major textile equipment manufacturer Shanghai Crosrol Pacific Machinery, plans to target the country as its top market.
Zhoyang Wang, Managing Director, said that this upbeat market is bound to last atleast three to four more years and his company wants to make the most of it, thus giving India the 'thumbs up.'
He also informed that the short staple textile spinning would now concentrate only in two regions - China and the Asian sub-continents, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Crosrol has 81 Cards and eight Blow Room lines presently, in India, under various stages of installation, besides the 60 sets that are due for delivery in the next four months.
Company, which shifted its manufacturing base from UK to Shanghai, has annual production capacity of 650 carding of which Crosrol exports about 65 to 75 percent.
