China : Sportswear giant Lacoste sues Chinese companies

French sportswear maker Lacoste found three Chinese companies using its crocodile symbol on clothes.

Company has brought this act of infringement in notice of Beijing No.1 Intermediate Court and asked 1 million yuan in compensation.

Company has also issued the names of three companies illegally using crocodile logo are as follow.

1. Tai'e Garment
2. Nianniangao Company
3. Chengxiang Department store

Lacoste SA designs and manufactures apparel and fragrances. It sells clothing, footwear, perfume and eyewear products and is easily recognized by its green crocodile logo.
