2006-8-11
Handicraft products are not new for China as more than 3,600 years old handicraft workshop has been found during an excavation in Henan province of China.
This workshop, covering about 1000 square metres, is part of ruins of Xia dynasty (2100 B.C.-1600 B.C.).
At this workshop, which was in use for more than 200 years, archaeologists found raw materials, roughcast and semi-finished products in plenty, which helped them to examine turquoise wares and ornaments.
