China : Wedding gown demand surges |

Wedding gown sale has been surged and sellers are surprised with this demand as 2,500 gowns have been sold from 20 dress shops in Suzhou.
Organizer of Wedding Expo, www.99wed.com informed that numbers of people were increasing to visit exhibition.
This web site has expected around 500 couples each day but over 2,500 have registered through email.
Sellers displayed different style of 1,000 wedding dresses comprising traditional Chinese and western-style.
Prices of dresses put on display vary from 100 yuan (US $12.3) to 1,000 yuan ($123.3). According to sellers, dresses available around 300 yuan are more in demand.
Before twenty years ago, wedding gowns were not preferred so much but trend has changed as marriage is considered very momentous moment.
As per the official statistic of Shanghai , around 150,000 local couples are going to marry and this business offers ample growth opportunities.
